chat room..

All of a sudden now I can not get into the chat room. I used to be able to go into it on Tues night, now I can't. Now sure what has happened, don't think I changed anything on my computer, maybe I did not realizing it works with chat rooms. Anyway... I have windows XP, and I use yahoo too, any thoughts on what I may have to do?

I am currently in the chat room, and have been on all day with no problems. Dunno what it could be.

I noticed it was slow to load but... I got in tonight.

Our chat software has recently been updated and some folks are having trouble logging in.

You must have the newest version of Java enabled on your computer (Version 5.0 Update 9). You may need to update your Java software. You can do this by going to the Java website www.java.com and downloading and installing the latest version of Java. This is a free download.

If you have a pop up stopper - it may prevent the chat window from opening.

You must be logged onto the forums before you can enter the chat room.

I was (AM still) having that problem on Yahoo. I un-installed/re-installed Java, disabled my pop-up blocker, could not get on, even though I had previously. The only way I can get on is by using Internet Explorer. No idea why.

I am able to get in with Firefox v 1.5 with no problems. Sounds like a Java problem like Janet said.

I just tested it with FireFox 2.0. Worked just fine. Loaded right up.
