NOAZARK2690 -- The search link on the overhead taskbar has a number of functions:
Search Forums -- works best with one searchword only. I would search using either tambour only or Winona only. Winona will probably get you closest to a lot of threads discussing replacement.
Advanced Search -- produces the most exact results in my experience but takes some getting used to
Google Search -- more natural for many internet users. Tends to put you in touch with a lot of general threads -- takes more reading.

silverdonna -- check at any local RV dealer that is big enough to have a better store. There are some small devices to plug into the power pillar that can check polarity.

Get something like this:

Amazon.com: Ideal Industries #61-501 GFCI Receptacle Tester: Home Improvement

Any hardware store including home depot and lowes should have them.

Ken

Ken & Bobstream....thank you both for th information and the quick response. I read the links provided and decided to go with the Progressive PT30c...it's portable and will cover all the bases (polarity, surge protector, open grounds, low voltage, etc)...the guys at Progresive and VIP were also a great help and easy to work with.....taking her off for a week for Thanksgiving.....happy camping.....Donna

Must be nice, silverdonna. We're hung up with winterizing up here. Think we'd get a clue... Summerizing is the way to go!

Carmilla, I've had a much easier time using Google to search the forums than the built-in search function. When you do your google search just start it with "site:airforums.com" and then add your keywords, and it will show you results from within this site only.

Yes, there is a search function, Carmilla. Look up to the top of the page, and the first horizontal dark blue line has Search in it. Click that then you'll see that there are several choices as to how to search.

One of them is Google: I agree with KerriO that it's the fastest. Some say that you get too many results though, so try several of the different types, if you have a moment.

Using the Google search up top as I just described saves you typing "site:airforums.com", Kerri. The results will be the same, so it's your choice.

Oh, would you look at that? Has the google search always been there? I've always missed it. Definitely more convenient.
