Question Attachments?

I have not tried to attach anything to a post in some time, but yesterday I tried to attache a pdf with some pictures of a project and if I remember correctly I got a message that the attachment would be over my limit. I then made my way to the user CP and looked under attachments and found what looked to be every attachment that I had ever included in a post with the following information:
Attachment Statistics You are currently using 117.08 MB to store 109 uploaded attachments.
So I assume that these attachments are counting toward my allotment. If so how do I eliminate some of my attachments.

Thanks

Don

Post Hi Don

I would PM an administrator. They may grant you more space, rather than having to delete previous posts. Worth a try!

Good luck!

You have to join and pay the $20.00 or so annual fee if you have used up your free space.

Or post with one of the "image warehousing" free websites, such as Flikr or Photobucket.

Thumbs up Thank You Aage!!

For the info... I was sure that there must be a work around for all of the free information that the posters provide us here, in photo attachments that so enlighten us all!! Let us keep it all as free as we can, especially during the economic times that most of us are enduring.

Ya know, now that I'm retired doesn't mean that I don't need to buy new tires, every now and again! I just need every dime from my piggy bank these days to do so!!

And thank you AirStream Forums Too! While I'm at it!!

I must have missed the renewal on paying the $20 annual so I went ahead and caught up on that.

Thanks

Don

I just went in and looked at my Attachment Stats. Look at the size of the attachments you are posting. Unless there is a strong need for detail the attachment that run in the 25KB range are OK. When they start getting to the 250KB range they eat up your space real fast.

I for one did not realize this or the effect it might have till your thread. Thanks
