Andy and I are attempting to set up a regular schedule on shipments. As soon as we get that set up, we will let you know. As for now, I know he is working up another order set for me. Once I get the names and addresses, I usually will have the decals in the mail within 5 days or less.

Andy is also working up some pricing to allow contributors to obtain additional decals. For those of you contributing for the first time, make sure your name and address is current in the forum registration. Unfortunately I cannot access the Paypal records so mailing stickers are generated from forum info. Some folks orders were delayed due to no address in our records or fictious addresses.

Just don't use this Forum to market or trade merchandise that has the Airstream name, unless Airstream has given approval. Airstream is a bit sensitive about this. What you make and email about is none of this forum's business.

Oh no! It is all now so clear! I just realized that this means that when the time comes I can never sell my Airstream (at least not here), because it has the word . . . Airstream . . . on it. It'll compete with new Airstreams in the market and that is not allowed. I guess once an Airstream Owner, always an Airstream owner! As a side benefit we can close down the "Classifieds" section of the Forum's, 'cause there's no more need for it!

Drama, just what we need is more drama

Actually Joe that has already been cleared. And we are good to go on that.

However, unless you are buying, I really don't recommend selling your bullet. Think of all the fun you would miss. Not to mention the repairs, maintence and association meetings.

Yeah, you know I was just funnin' with you, don't you? I have no intention of selling my Airstream anytime soon (unless a better one comes along at an unbelievable deal).

I don't want to usurp this thread, but sometimes that "Thor is watching" paranoia just gets to me. You can't think it is good for Airstream's image. And I still go back to other "marque" clubs, like for example Corvette clubs. There are literally hundreds of these and I have belonged to several over the years. None ever had to sign an agreement with General Motors to use the word "Corvette" in the name of the club, nor use it on any club materials (flags, flyers, T-shirts, etc.).

And now back to the regularly scheduled discussions of "oval Air".

I know you were kidding. And just the same there are a number of members of Airstream that are forum members. And since Airstream has taken the issue we will comply to keep the domain name. Other wise this entire forum would be moving to a different site. For the right to use the domain they restrict merchandising by this forum. It's more in the way of a licensing aggreement. Airstream can never interfer with the content or the posting that goes on here. So you can be paranoid if you choose and the only thing Airstream has a hand in would be merchandising.

And yes I belong to a Merc Forum and three Lincoln Forums. The Merc Forum does do some merchandising because it's tied to a club. So I don't kno wif they got a merchandising license or not and Mercury does not care. In fact I think the Lincoln Mercury Division encourages it. Airstream just has a different view and is willing to send letters from their legal staff on the usage of the word Airstream. There have been a couple site changes on this world wide web because of it.

Just staying in bounds!

I will be generating the mailing list on April 14th for Jack so the next batch of stickers can be sent that weekend. So please place your donations now if you want your stickers to be included in the next mailing...

New mailing April 22nd.

Just a notice that I'm heading for the post office in a few minutes to send out the decal orders that have accumulated since our last shipment. For all intents this should cover all contributions through April 15th. The mailings are going out first class and my local post office will process them Monday. First deliveries to the areas around St. Louis will be on Tuesday with hopefully the bulk of the mailings in your mailbox at worse case Saturday. Hopefully it doesn't take 7 days to get a first class mailing within the continental U.S.

Next cutoff date for the next mailing will be April 30th.

Regards,

Jack

Hello all -

Sorry to say that even though I have had the "AIR" sticker affixed to both the TV and to SilverToy - I am SORRY to say that I am still earthbound, have picked up no ADDITIONAL super powers.....

I am still your average AS Superhero!!! Not that that is average, by ANY stretch of the imagination!!! I HAVE an AirStream after all!!!!!!!!

Call me 'MR. SILVERTOY"!!!!!!!!!!

Peace

Axel
