For some reason, I click on the Donate button, and I get in an endless loop that asks me to pay $20, and then a red-letter message that I must first pay $20. Both Google and Microsoft Edge, no joy.

Stumped me too...
You have to actually type “20” into the box where it already appears. It will work thereafter.

OK but Site Still Not Secure ?
As a side note, think by now the site should at least be a “Secure” URL? As of now it is not.
Especially since fees encouraged, more pop up adds to navigate and added revenue from the priceless resources of the contributing subscribers.

At some point in the next year we will need to move to a new software platform until then, the login screens (where you pass login info) are secure and this should be adequate.

Do you also plan a refresh to the iPhone app to reduce some of the odd crashes I’ve been seeing the last few months? It simply shuts down without warning and needs a restart of the app to get back. Does not usually need login again. More an inconvenience than anything really aggravating.

Yes, please. I never use paypal and don't plan to do so in the future, but otherwise would really like to upgrade my membership. I have seen this indicated as an issue for other folks as well. Direct secure payment by credit card or another similar means of payment would open the door for a lot of folks.

I used my normal CC the last time as I too don't like/have a PP account. Hard to remember, but it seems the PP option took my CC #, exp etc.

Glad to contribute. The "forums" are a daily read for me, informative and entertaining.
As a relative newcomer to owning an AS this forum is an invaluable source of knowledge.
The modern units are much more complicated than my Father's vintage AS was. His '56?
utilized a tire pump to pressurize the water system, was not self contained, however, towed very well. Thank You, J

Well, that is your choice. But it is a safe well run company. We have been using it since 2000 without any problems at all, plus it's been a great investment.
BTW 'ya don't have to use PP, just enter your info & click.

Finally feel like my head is above water a little and remembered to pitch in, well worth it as a thank you for all the general knowledge the site has imparted to me..
I don't use PayPal either, so I clicked on the "continue as guest" I think it was -and was able to just use my CC.
Reading the earlier posts made this a breeze.
