This is trending positive towards another one yet this year. You do have all those reservations to take advantage of and you'd hate to lose out on those, and you will need new windows to display your Air stickers.

To date I have yet to receive my Air stickers. I'm not sure what happened - but my donation was made back in April.

Any way you can look at that date a little closer? I just checked the last three reports for orders which go all the way back to the beginning of the year and I don't see your name. If you have a date, I'll have Andy research and see how it got missed.

I got an email telling me that it is time to renew. I went to the site specified in the email, but it keeps running me around in circles. I am not sure if I signed up for automatic renewal or not. Direct me in the right direction.

Until Andy gets AIR t-shirts available, You might want to consider our Airstream-authorized shirts. Great quality at good prices! See the ad in the our Fall 07 edition of Airstream Life magazine. It’s all Airstream and its all good.

OK, I'm headed out to the post office with the latest batch of decals. This mailing covers from April 17th through July 29th. There are also some additional mailings going out to those of you who did not get your decals from your contributions earlier this spring.

Thanks for your patience and hopefully you will see these in your mailbox this week.

Regards,

Jack

I wasn't aware that you didn't get your decals. I just checked the original reports from April and your name wasn't on the report that was generated for the mailing labels even though you contributed. As I noted we had some type of software problem in April so there were a few folks that never got their decals. I've been sending these out once I've been informed by those who didn't get the mailing. I post each time I do a mailing so those who contribute within a specific time frame will know to expect their decals.

I just got back from the Post Office so I'll get your decals out tomorrow at lunch time. I'll go by the downtown Post Office and get the international postage for your envelope. Sorry.

Jack

So it says I have 65535 unread messages after upgrading my account. Imagine the disappointment of not finding them when I went to read my private messages. So, it that the total number of unread messages on the server?

I appreciate these forums as much as anyone else but it is really troublesome to see contributing members wait as long as 5 months for their stickers and/or enhancements as we see in many of these posts.
This is written with intent as constructive criticism and I hope it is read as same. Someone had to say it.
How hard can it be to respond to people who have donated?
Let the flaming begin.

Your decals were in last night's mailing. You will get them this week some time.

Keep in mind that in some cases the folks with missing decals didn't get in touch with us right away. I did handle a number of requests that were made privately to me and were resolved.

I normally post when the decals go out and what contribution dates the decals cover. Some folks have been very patient and probably didn't see the original post showing the mailing date and contribution dates. Therefore it was only after some time that they finally spoke up.

As noted many times, we specifically had issues with a mailing list that was done in April. That is the only list that we have had major problems to this extent. There have been two subsequent mailings go out since then, none with the problems that this one specific mailing had. To my recollection only two issues out of the last two mailings, one being a lost envelope and the second a bad address on the forum records.

In addition once we had identified there may be a problem, we had to go back and research records which include original contributions and different mailing reports. When I don't know the exact date that a person ordered, I have to go through many many names to look to see if I generated a mailing label.

Finally remember that we are volunteers here. Most of us have working jobs and other priorities in life. In the case of the decals, the handling and mailing are done by me here in St. Louis. I do not have direct access to pay pal records nor do I have the ability to generate reports from the system. All of this has to be done by someone else and then emailed to me.

All I can tell you is that we are getting the problems ironed out, and in this case, the vast majority of the issues posted on this thread dealing with decals, dealt with one nasty report that just caused folks not to get listed.

Hopefully we have gotten things caught up. Obviously let's see what this week brings. I'm hoping that there are no others out there still waiting by this time next week.....(unless they ordered after the cutoff that I posted last night).

So no flame from me. We have enough heat here in the midwest!

Jack
