Jack,

Can not find email (Dumped) or MCard log.

That is OK as the gold rivet is up, thats what counts, and when renewal time comes around we will hear from them.

Thanks for your time,

John

The last orders sent out covered the period 3/10/07 through 5/13/07. If you have made a contribution after 5/13, there has been no subsequent mailing. I always post to this thread when I do a mailing and what period of time it covers.

The mailing prior was the one we had problems with the address list being incomplete.

Hi Jack

I just got AIR but have a question. Are they decals or crack and peel stickers? Don't want to tear in to it and mess things up so I thought I would ask the question first.

Interesting point. When you addressed them to me you used my Airstream Numbers rather than my zip code and they can through in regular time. The scanner that read the address in St Louis desided where to send them and printed my zip code down to the street location.

My error on zip. I have to manually look up each address from forums records and the WBCCI field is not too far from the zip code field. Glad the post office handled this promptly. Sometimes incorrectly addressed mail sits weeks before they get forwarded correctly or returned.

The decals have a backer which you peel off. Peel enough off to expose the sticky back of the decal. Peel the balance of the backer off as at the same time the decal is attaching itself to the surface you are applying it to.

Just wanted to pop a note here to see if anyone can check me out - not litterally but to see if I made the list.

"donated" several months ago but have not received my air sticker. Not that it is a big deal as I only saw what my number was this morning - tee hee. 4222 add onto that a 32 and I could have a great figure.

Anyway no rush J just that the LadyBug hopefully on her next trip will be sporting all her new identity tags.....

I was sure the 'decals' were the same as those I had worked with many times in my former workday life, That is by carefully, as you have described, peeling the back and applying the graphic gradually to whatever surface it was to go to. I had become so good at it that I was applying quite LARGE copy and/or graphics to glass, alumunum panels and even wood. When I was ready to apply my AIR sticker for the life of me I could not separate the decal from the backing. So I bagan to believe it was an old transfer decal where you soak it in water then slide it onto the ready surface. All the time I was soaking it I kept thinking, 'No, the Forums must be into the 21st century by now. Why the old fashion decals?' Well it worked. My AIR decal is secure on my coach window. Did I indeed receive a collector decal?

Nope. They are all peel off the backer style. I've watched them being produced and they are printed on a big roll of the material. Then they are individually cut from the roll. No water soak decals for us.

How about print your own decals?

For a donation, you receive a one year license to print your own (2 only please). Just think of the aggravation it would save..........

And more money for the Moderators, Beer, Vegas, and Education fund.

Of coarse, all members would be subject to roadside stops by the AIR Police.

Have you checked your paypal account as to when the payment was taken? I know you had problems with the payment being accepted. If it was after 5/13, then that is why you don't have decals yet. That was the cut off on the last reports Andy sent out. I'll talk to Andy about getting a new set of reports out. When we do I'll post that fact and the dates that it covers.

It was the blue 'decal' that would not peel. The white one peeled the way I expected. Thanks,

I'll be working with Andy shortly to get a new mailing list. Dependent upon the size of the list, it takes me about a week to transcribe the info to mailing labels. Watch this thread. I always post when I'm doing the mailing and the contribution dates that the mailing will cover.

Let's see. One AIR sticker was on the rear window. Fireman's ax took care of that. The other sticker on little lower window next to the door, burnt. Can I trade in some karma for a couple new stickers to put on my new rig, if, when I get another one?

Hey p'green -- From a defunct project I believe I have some extras. Let me check. I'll make sure you are rewarded for your fortitude ... a long sad day later. It never made any sense when it was departed people on cop shows -- but in this case it truly seems to apply: I'm sorry for your loss. And pain. And heartache.

I'll be in touch.
