Some of those 'ads' are for member run rallies and there are lots of useful features like the latest post feed and a quick view of our classifieds section.

I actually prefer the wider right hand column because it means the left column is gone. Having two narrower columns added to clutter imo and this has improved functionality. Still a lot of design issues are subjective and we are not all going to agree. It's a bit like picking out new living room furniture with a committee....

Thanks for the kudos, but they are not deserved. Lots of folks have had input about the design and a team of folks did the work including Andy S. who is the artiste of note.

As a 27 year member of WBCCI, on the ripe side of 70 I should hate the changes and those causing them (LOL). But heavens help me I don't. Smatter of fact I think they are great!! Thank you to those responsible.

Problems with Gallery and Photos

-Not sure if this is just me but when I clicked on my gallery it return three pages of 21 copies of one random photo of mine and 3 of another.

-On the 1950s forum the photo I posted earlier with the caption "Our 1949 Trailwind in 1970" has been replaced by the random photo that appeared 21 times on my gallery.

-On the new profile search when putting in 1949 it returned a page full of the same member.

I wasn't able to find the member search with the trailer #1, motor-home #1, etc with the drop down by year and model. It's probably there but just couldn't find it.

I like the new clean look and drop-downs.

Found Member Search; Would Love Tralier #2 to be Added to Search

Found member search in the Quick Links.
Would love if a trailer #2 member search could be added like motor-home #2.

Easy fix individually, function + arrow down or a control button

Dave, it is an easy fix on a temporary basis. What happens when you go to another site that is not so bright? Adjust up or down? The white background is very harsh to my eye. That is my personal feeling.

I especially like the drop down menu under the forums tab. Besides familiarizing myself with the various subforums and categories I can easily navigate directly to the desired section rather than wait for a new page to load and search and have to scroll through all the real estate to see the subforums as we did with the old forum interface. All the tabs are very useful. Nice improvements. Good job! I also agree that putting all the "extras" on only one side gives an uncluttered appearance and makes posts and threads more prominently displayed without the former distractions. Bright? I bet it depends on the screen but I certainly see it very bright, but no brighter than the other web pages that I read regularly as the news sites I frequent, however they do have more colored graphics dispersed and competing with the text. I know some forums give users a choice of preferred appearance.

Me too! Tons of photos with crazy numbers of duplicates - I went to the 1960s airstream photos and almost every photo has at least one duplicate, many times over five, however I didn't get quite 21.

I also like the clean look and drop downs.

How about some help buttons or a help tab. I can't upload photos and I have to go to a forum for help.

Really like the new look! Areas are grouped together well, so it is easier to find things.

I have the same problem as others with photos though. My gallery now consists of 1 photo, many times. Each duplicate photo still maintains the description that went with the "missing" photo though, so that is kinda good.. right??

Love the idea that you can crop in different photos at the top too.

The thumbnails seem to be duplicated whereas clicking on one of those opens an entirely different picture. Perhaps the thumbnail pictures have to be regenerated due to corrupt file???

We're still working to solve the thumbnails issues, but we'll get there... The idea of a help tab is intriguing - thanks for the suggestion
