A Question on Karma

When a person gives you Karma, are you supposed to give Karma back to that person for giving you Karma? Does that make sense? I always look at it like I like to give Karma and expect nothing in return. So, I tend not to give Karma to a person for giving me Karma. I just worry that I might be offending people by not "returning" Karma. What is everyone's take on this?

I look at it as a gift that requires nothing in return. (It is always better to give than receive isn't it?) Not that I haven't done some two way karma. I look it as an unexpected pleasure....with no ties to reciprocate.

"Karma is not about retribution, vengeance, punishment or reward. Karma simply deals with what is. The effects of all deeds actively create past, present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to others."

THAT is a vastly simplified explanation ... for more see Karma - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

That is how I understood it an have been applying it. I started wondering about this though because of some arguements about gifts I've seen on other forums. Those made me realize that some people see gift giving very differently than I do and when I started thinking about this in relation to Karma, I started having a minor anxiety attack over it.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

It's "karma", not "boomerang".
