Anyone else getting a 404 error ????

No reason just goes to the 404 error page and won't let me back to the fourm.

I've been getting the same 404 Error all day. When I reboot, I can then get on the Forums.

Leave the forum, delete the airstreamforums cookie, then re-enter the forums. That worked for me.

I was having the same problem up until this afternoon. It seems fine now from what I can tell.

The 404 error occurs on the first instance of trying to access http://www.airforums.com. Actually, the URL that is the error page is http://www.airforums.com/profile.php, if I'm not mistaken.

Curiously, on the second attempt to access http://www.airforums.com from my bookmarks opens the site correctly. Also, it seems like the error has gone away.

did you try clearing your AirstreamForums cookies? Seems to have helped most having this problem...

Did try that, but still no joy. Have a MAC with the latest Firefox/OS running... As stated, no joy. All this 404 is straight after the 'sign-in' with the auto redirect.... goes right to the 404. Hit the back button and the ASF's with the sign-in comes up, correctly.... but it should work directly no? MODS???? ANDY????

Guess I have to wait....

Hi Silvertoy,
first, greetings from the UK and congratulations on having a Mac. I'm a naughty boy and do most of my forum postings in tea breaks etc at work and I'm stuck with a networked PC. The browser icons look like they were designed my Matt Groenig and eBay is blocked... ...I miss my Mac!

My link in favourites doesn't get me onto the forums. It sounds like the server isn't reading our urls properly. I will throw away my old favourite and install a new one.

Here, too, loud and clear. It went to the error message twice, then loaded the forums page.

This error occurred today when logging on today. I had a PM which made the PM popup box appear. After clicking through the several boxes the 404 error appeared, going back started the popup boxes again, cancel did not eliminate them, finally I loaded the forum again and was able to get to my PM.

When trying to get to the Forums I am seeing the site go up for a split second then a message that sasy 404 comes up. When I reclick on the bookmark again the site finally comes up correctly. What is up with that?

This morning I pulled up the temp. internet files. Scrolled thru the entire list and highlighted every file with airstream. Hit delete. Restarted.

Soon as the forum site opens up it clicks off to the error page and the "profile" link is showing in the address window.

Explorer 1, em 0

2nd try:
clicked the Delete Cookies button. Now the temp. internet file is clean, no cookies.

restart. Forum comes up. I log on manually and check "remember me".
Page jumps to "profile" address again, and again, and again.
Guess it finally got tired and let me in.

I am sending this before the "profile" address gets back from it's break.

I fixed my 404 problem by deleting the cookies in Firefox. Everything now seems to be working fine.

We have made a temporary change to redirect all 404 errors to the homepage, so people will not be seeing the error pages any more. This is a temporary fix, however, and we are looking into the problem.

I know I am patient and hopefully everyone else is also. I only post once about my problems. Changes are not fun and I hope all the issues work out soon.
