2012 Flying Cloud

We ordered a 27 ft 2012 Flying Cloud on Saturday May 7 and are waiting for it to come off the assembly line and be delivered to George Sutton RV in Eugene. The expected offline date is 8/23 and then they're saying it's taking up to 2 weeks for delivery. Is anyone else having to wait 4 months for a factory ordered trailer?

Anyone in a 2012 FC? Anything to report?

I noticed there isn't a sub-category for it yet:

Jeeze....I just got my 2010 Flying Cloud in February...haven't even done the shake-down cruise....and I'm already feeling old!

Congrats on your choice. I'm loving the driveway camping. Last night was magical -
left the roof vent open and woke-up with the moon beaming right through the vent.

The only major peeve with my 2010 was a leak in the bathroom wall seam. It appears to be fixed now (hauled it back to the dealership) but I wouldn't trust those "waterproofing tests" Airstream likes to brag about.

I see you also live on the wet coast, so as soon as you get it, leave it outside if it's raining and/or put the hose to it and go over the inside with a fine-toothed comb to check for leaks.

Enjoy!....and please post pictures when you get it home!
