New Interior work on my '66

After over 10+ years under a tarp - I finally resurrected my Caravel project when I retired in 2017. I overpaid for sub-par work by the first "repairman" - but fortunately found a terrific Czech craftsman who re-did all the poor plumbing and electrical repairs from first guy - and he just finished painting the interior pale turquoise to match the bath end cap and we added a walnut IKEA countertop - big ass sink - and fancy faucet. Being a turquoise freak, I also switched out the little stove and removed the damaged overhead cabinet and replaced with vintage GE Turquoise Metal "cabinette". I joined SISTERS on the FLY - I've taken 3 trips - and finally feel that I'm on my Airstream journey. Being a rookie has been a challenge!

the original Bowen water heater was still in the trailer when I bought it - but I decided to take it out since I'm never going to boondock - and I added an electric on-demand heater

Nice work, Paula. What type of refrigerator do you have installed? And when you get a chance, I'd love to see the table and leg you bought off eBay.

Paula - this is fantastic! We also have a 66 which we had to do a bit of work on the plumbing and flooring - not to mention some freshening up! I am interested in any information you could share about your new stove. The oven in ours is no longer safe to operate so I am looking for a replacement, but adore the look of yours.

Thanks so much and happy trails!!
