Need help with my '66 Caravel

Hi fellow Caraveler's Sadly we have to sell our little "Pretty Puff" I have been putting it off for 9 years; using her to store blankets, sleeping bags, luggage and paper products. But today we cleaned her out and cleaned her up. My problem is I do not know what to ask for her. She is in fairly good condition. does have some scraches and a few baseball dents. Needs new floor covering and couch coverings/foam. one of the mag's is gone from cupboard. The elec converter is off, but there. the water pump workes but cycles on. there is small things that need to be fixed. BUT it has air, all the glass is in tact. skin inside look good. As she sits you could hook up and go. But she does need some TLC.
Does anyone have an estamate for me? I do not want to over charge someone. And I know she is worth more to me..
Thanks for any help Debbie

Read through this document. http://www.vintageairstream.com/rr_t...condition.html
It is a good starting point for the value of your trailer. It has not been updated for a while and the numbers may be a little low. Also, West Coast prices will run a little higher then East Coast and smaller trailers seem to be more in demand lately. Good luck and I hope that Puff finds a good home.

A little Caravel, in CA? I'd put it on eBay. Put lots of pictures on, describe it as honestly and accurately as you can, and let the buyers decide what it's worth. You might be pleasantly surprised at what you get out of it.

Selling on E-Bay

Airstream Life had another great E-Bay article in their Summer 2006 issue. In part author Roger Johnson stated, "Sellers need to present a complete and accurate description of exactly what they are offering and support the description with a generous quantity of good quality photos of both interior and exterior. It is the seller's best interest to honestly present all known features and flaws. If I'm selling an Airstream on E-Bay, I'll set a low opening bid and a reserve. If the coach doesn't sell, I'll at least have a market survey of the value"
