Looks great!
I'm fascinated with how the components of the trailer tongue are very different than in the US.

Most trailers in Europe have surge brakes, longer trailer tongues, and much less weight on the hitch. The trailer ball is a single piece with the hitch on the car (the ball can't rotate like our US versions) and anti-sway is often with pads clamped on the ball. The tongue jack usually has a wheel to allow maneuvering by hand.
Below is a picture of a common hitch setup.

We also have the same trailer and would love to find out about the awning and how much it costs. Did you go direct to the Zip Dee factory or did you go through a dealer. Thank you very much. We have had our little money pit for 2 years now and would not give her up for the world. I have been to Italy once such a place of beauty. Thank you in advance if you would like to help.

I bought it also from Vintage Trailer Supply. Shipping from the States to Austria was really expensive but worth any Cent. The look is fantastic and the color is matching the interieur.

Your Airstream in Italy
It is our dream to take our Airstream to Europe. What logistics were involved in shipping yours over? what kind of car do you tow with? Are you able to store it somewhere when not using it? So curious! So many questions!

Where exactly is that spot on the lake? I've been to Lake Maggiore on the Swiss side...Locarno and Ascona. A beautiful place indeed!

Hi Maryelia,
I bought my Airstream from a company in Germany. So I have no clue how they shipped the Airstream. They did also everything to get european car documents (Hitch, Axle, Lights,....)
My towing Car is a 2006 Honda CRV II Executive with 140 HP.
Most time the trailer stands next to our apartment and in the winter I have a parking-lot @ my parents...

Looks nice, thanks for posting
Nice awning. Looks like a great setup. Where did you order it? I have a 67. Post some pictures of your trailer, as we all love to get ideas. I have some damage on the front and i see that your trailer has been patched. That gave me an idea. Thanks!
