Hi Dingo Girl, it was definitely the drilling that strained my shoulder, or it was my "advanced years". Anyway, my shoulder was sore and limited for several weeks after each of the three stupid belly pan installations I've done. I think I'd rather have a root canal without anesthetic instead of another belly pan install.
I did not have any pain in my patookus though. Lucky on that one.
My advanced age is not helping my situation either.
My shoulder definitely has been strained but the worst is I pulled a chest muscle. Now no deep breaths with out hurt. Hope that goes away quickly.
I did get the curbside front corner buttoned up last night. Figured start with an easy one.
Thanks again for all the pointers, this forum really is the best!
When I installed the belly pan on my Bambi Ii, I have myself vertigo. It was from the strain on my neck & head when I pushed so hard while drilling. It took a while to figure that out (some doctoring & googling) but I deduced that that was the cause. Now I try not to pirouette on my head if I'm drilling under my trailer!! Belly pans are the worst!!!
Becky I wonder if I have a bit of that too. I get freaky dizzy from time to time while under the trailer. Then have to roll out of there and take a break.
I got dizzy when I looked up, and when I laid down ( just like the bed spins in college)😳. It's actually your inner ear crystals that have been released from their place that makes you dizzy. Some simple maneuvers actually make it better .... dr recommended physical therapy...I googled it & self therapied!
For me, vertigo like feeling is a result of progressive lenses in my glasses. I had an old frame fitted with the prescription for about 2.5' distance over the whole lens. Helped a huge amount

I used self drilling screws to tack the belly pan pieces in place, then backed them out one at a time and drilled 3/16 hole and put in a rivet. I also bought a rivet gun that easily pulled the 3/16 large head rivets. Having the screw hole made drilling for the rivet relatively fast and easy. The rivet gun made the rivet setting a snap. Working on your back is no fun, though.
