Question Holding Tank Dump Valves

I have a question. Can you use regular dump valves on the grey water and black water drain or does airstream use a special valves, also can you replace these by just lowering the pan covering the holding tanks? This is on a 1987 32' Excella.

On my Bambi, the valves are manufactured by Valterra, available from most any RV parts supplier and Camping World. Also, the valves are replaceable without dropping belly pan, as the fitting to the waste pipes is immediately behind the valve housing.

Location of Dump Valves

Thanks for the info. However my dump valves are inside the cover under the holding tanks.
