Okay! Here are a few pictures of the interior- We found this trailer in the classifieds at this web sight- Drove to California (easy drive) last Saturday and picked it up! Yes we are very excited about our new toy!! the previous owner had it and used it regularly for 20 years and as you can see took excellent care of it- As we will. I am ordering a new axel Monday. Shortly following that will be a roof a/c unit and that will be it for now--
Very nice and a great find. Most of us buying vintage Airstreams seem to end up with a lot more work to do before we can actually use our trailers. That's not necessarily a good thing but it seems in my case at least the really nicely done or original ones aren't up for sale when I'm looking, just the ones that need a lot of sweat equity.

Very nice! I rearely see the ones with a dark interior like mine. Yours looks to be in very original shape. I haven't seen the round light covers in one before though. Not that there's anything wrong with that! It looks like a real find! Congrats!
Congrats to you. May you have many years of Airstream fun. Beautiful coach!

Hi I am new to the trailer ownership. There is a lot of talk about replacing axles Are they just a flaw in the older airstream or do they just loose there strength after years ?I have a 66 caravel Knowing nothing about trailers Just got it?
