Cleaning Vinyl Walls
I scrubbed all of the wall panels for the trailer this afternoon.
With the help of some Marine Clean mixed 1:1, a scrub brush mounted on a stick, the garden hose and elbow grease the panels are ready to go back in.
With any luck by the 4 th of July.
There is light at the end of the aluminum tunnel. ☺

Magic Eraser works well, too. Handy for those panels you don't want to take out but do want to clean.

Thank you for the tip. I will try that on a couple of stubborn spots.
Some decades old Filth does not want to let go.

Are you going to eventually paint your panels? If you do, I would rinse them again with a cloth and water before painting, just to make sure there's no left over residue from the cleaner. That way the paint sticks. You definitely DON'T want to do it twice!
They look very good, by the way. I did the same thing when we had ours out in our reno. We had them rolled up for a year before they went back in! Good luck with it all!

The panels you did look great, by the way. I had some spots and stains that I could not get out no matter what I used and no matter how hard I brushed. The clean walls looked so good when I put them in that I don't really notice the few spots.

I won't paint them. I think they are good enough to put back in as is.
I really was shocked at how clean they came.
I'm not putting the plastic bathroom back in mine and was worried the vinyl coated panels under the plastic were too far gone and would never come clean. They cleaned up beautifully and can be reused.
There is some wood stain (minwax etc...)on one panel and not sure how to get that off without removing the vinyl with it
I wish the PO would have taped off what he was staining.
Any ideas on how to remove the stain??

You might try Goof Off, but it could damage the vinyl. I'd try a very small, out of the way, spot first.
Not putting the fiberglass bath in?

I'll pick up a can after work and try it.
Nope no plastic /fiberglass bath going back in. I really don't like the look of it.
I will have a sink and toilet.

You may have saved yourself some trouble by not putting the fiberglass base back in. I found it ... er ,,, challenging. PITA in other words.

I can see it being a PITA.
Not sure if I should keep the original bath just in case when the camper is sold at my estate sale that the new owner may want it.
I will be dead and gone.
Or do I not care about the future of the trailer?
What have others done ?

The previous owner stained the piece of wood above the sofa cushions but failed to tape this off or just remove it to do the staining.
Any ideas on how to remove wood stain from my vinyl walls with out removing the vinyl?
