Question Caravel windows

Hi, I have a 1967, it is in great shape and
appears original in all aspects except that the front and rear windows are not one piece of glass but 2 horizontal glass panels. The crank-out opening mechanisims are the same as the side windows. I have not seen these windows on any other Caravel or bambi, or Pacer. If they were are replacements they did a beautiful job as they look like factory. I am bummed that they may not be original, does anyone have any information or
opinion on this?

Thank you,
Sue

Sue,

In the sixties Airstream would do just about anything you wanted if you would pay for it. The windows may be original and unique! If you don't get an answer here you may also want to try the VAC site to see if they know of any others like yours.
