We have a 1967Caravel. Anyone have a good picture of the door and what hinges are used on that door for the fiberglass unit under the bathroom sink? We are stumped on the correct hinges, door and gasket or how that door seals. Some pictures would be much appreciated. We are thinking of making an aluminum door by wrapping aluminum aver a piece of thin plywood but would like to see what else might work. No idea what the original was.

It is about 3/8 - 1/2 inch board that was epoxied (I think). I took thinned fiberglas resin to better water proof this one, then painted with epoxy paint. Hinges are 1/2 inch offset cabinet hinges and the catch is one offered by VTS, I believe. I got some flexible weatherstripping to seal it. It is self adhesive small bulb type from Home Depot.

I went and looked at mine. They appear to be the same hinges used on the cabinet doors. Like the ones under the sofa and gaucho. Same plastic latch too.
I'd take a picture but my battery is on deadly E.
Here are pictures. The latch is broken. The last one shows the back side of the latch and catch.
I think there are only two latches in my trailer that were not broken.
Hope this helps.
To all of the above, thank you the pictures and discriptions were what we needed. We have redone much of the inside and rebuilt couches and other doors but this one was a mystery. Again thank you all.
