Just got our Caravel
back from being professionally polished (see www.revitalizedtrailers.com
). That was after my wife and I spent most of a year refurbishing it from stem to stern. There was just a bit of floor rot near the door that I was able to piece in. No major body dings as you can see. New axle, electrical, water heater, refrigerator, floor, upholstery, curtains. Rebuilt the galley and upper cab. on curb side, but just refinished the street side cabinets and woodwork. The radio is a 1947 my brother refinished (his hobby). Just need to paint the lower half of the bath and she'll be done. We are so happy with it and look forward to many years of enjoying it and hopefully meeting some of you along the way. This website has been extremely valuable in the process, so thanks to all of you who contribute your advice and expreiences. Hope I got the picures posted right. They may not be in order, but it's obvious which are "before" (exterior photos the day we picked it up in Boise, ID. All the indide shots are after refurbishing. I have many photos of the "process" if any of you want to see specific repairs, etc.
