Good people. A SOB dealer had them out last year to weigh trailers. I took the Safari down and had it and my van weighed. They also did a tire saftey talk which was really eye opening. I learned a lot. Best of all the dealer paid the fees for the weigh in. Cost me $0. If they are ever in your area, take advantage of their services.

Question RVSEF Friend of User or Industry or Both ????

I found the small response to this thread surprising.

Jack did they have any thoughts on wheel,tire and drum balancing?

From my research (minimal) I surmise that a good guy named John Anderson started this effort as a entity called A Weigh We Go.
Here's a link;
RV Industry Leader John Anderson article circa 1998
http://www.rvamerica.com/rvamerica_m...e/anderson.htm

Apparently he caused quite a stir in the RV industry. Mostly Negative in the industry's eyes. A revolution of sorts.
In his words
Quote:
"After every revolution must come a new "administration" if you will, implementing the changes of the revolution and ensuring their growth and longevity".
Did they dump Anderson or compromise him or buy him or what?

Here is John Anderson's book after RVSEF took over; Is it the same as the book put out before the take-over? Who knows?
Have any of us seen the book? How bout a report?

Home page of RVSEF link; Big Bucks involved you can see.

Schedule of RVSEF seminars and weigh-ins around the country.
I did not notice any WBCCI or VIN rallys. Coincidence? or Why?

IMHO: The auto industry under heavy regulation, administration?, has produced a much superior product than before...
