Tire chart confusion

Thanks for that link,but I'm still confused about how to read it.
What does a 7.00x15 translate to in modern language?

7.00x15 will translate to 7.00R15LT

225 X75r's is what I went with. If you look at the specs for goodyear marathons at www.tirerack.com you'll see the current size table. They're about 1/2"-3/4" wider than our current 7.00's and about an inch or so smaller in diameter. Hope this helps.
