Best "some other brand" forum?

While still lurking about here with no real reason, as many of you know I am now a proud Holiday Rambler owner, I am wondering if any of ya'll know of a decent forum for a heathen "white box" owner??

BTW, what's with the new format? Too bright for the eyes, don't ya think?

Hi, I like the RV.net forum...don't know how to post a link, sorry. It is apparently associated with Trailer Life.

Some people of this forum post there, I have noticed. Just be careful "around the campfire" It is a real collection of .....I honestly don't know how to describe it.

PS--I am not trying to get rid of you. Why don't you stick around and tell us your experiences with your Holiday Rambler?

Besides others here are afficianados.......

Boy, howdy, if you really want to see the extent to which the SOB and RVing industry is combined into a single monolith, just go to the "home" page that includes RV.net forum and click on their privacy policy (bottom of page). Here's what you get:

Chas -

I presently own a 2002 Sunline, but I'm trying to sell it in time for my new Airstream to be built at the end of this month. In addition to this board, I also spend time on Woodall's Open Road Forum which is one mega board -- there aren't enough hours in the day for me to keep up with all the posts there, even if I wanted to. Here's the link:

Kistler,

I can see what you're talking about, sounds like some real nuts over there, no campfire that I would want to be around. I guess I would just need to steer clear of that section. Makes me appreciate how well this forum is run.

Eubank,

Looks like someone over there knows how to pay the bills.

Believe it or not, it used to be far worse than it is now. A couple of months back, the moderators started getting pretty tough... I understand there were several "banishments" and threads getting locked and deleted right and left.

Some folks never figure out how to play nice with others!

In contrast, this site has been refreshingly devoid of such "voiding" contests, if you catch my meaning. It's been a real pleasure spending time here every day!

That is what I would call a real cast of characters. Some seem to be unemployed extras for the movie "deliverance"...
Chas, feel free to check back with us, we won't hold it against you that you are a SOB owner-much.
BTW, here is the link to RV.net's home page, not too tough to figure:

Another vote for http://www.irv2.com . Bunch of real nice folks. I have been to one of their rallies down here in Florida. I have also met the founder, who happens to live in the same county I am from in Ohio. They also have a chat night on Wednesdays.

Question

Is it the uncensored "FREEDOM" of the "around the campfire" that bothers you ???
