what a great idea, now i know what to do with the coasters i create with my cd burner. still don't have that mp3 to wave to wma to cda file thing figured out....makes a lot of chipmunk music!

John, I'm kind of playing with CDA, MP3,MP2,wmv and wave files. I use Nero 5.5 to burn. if you want to make a Cd from scratch, you have to rip the audio(wave) to change to MP3, its done by a programe. It has to be 4400 mhz at 128 bit sterio. Then you just drag and drop into your burner program. Make sure you use name brand disks, I use memorex(100 for 15.95). You dont need to buy these socalled audio cd's its a rip off.

Audio or Music CD's include a royalty(kickback) to RIAA to defray the cost of the kids downloading and "ripping off" the artists. That is the reason for the price difference. If you are burning Data only, like photographs you archive, to these disks, you are wasting a few cents a disk.
