Just realized I did not have a picture of the vintage vent Peter was able to keep with the new Water Heater.


Except for the base the whole outer section comes apart as it did originally. The vent placement is in the exact place if we were to use the cover that came with it. We still need to work on the little vent as it was just a tad too short - for the original panel. It is all just set in place to stop the criters from making LB there new winter home!!

I have the full hand polising to do and replace all the screws with SS screws. it will look very sharp once all done - but all takes time....

Does anyone what is the coldest temperature you can compound in??/ Keep in mind I am talking the metal factor not the human factor - us canucks can work out in the cold winters!!!
