We purchased our Airstream over the Memorial Day Weekend and we have been trying to figure out what we have. I hope someone can point us in the right direction.
VIN# - 22TDSS0548
This implies a
1961 Safari or Flying Cloud made in Santa Fe Springs, CA.
The trailer was made in 12/1960 and the title shows
1960 as the year.
There is a moulding around the rear end that caps off with a flag on each side in front of the rear side marker lights. I am guessing this indicates an International series.
The interior layout is exactly the same as a
1960 Flying Cloud that I found on the vintageairstreams.com web site.

I found a list of the options for California made Airstreams in Dec
1959. This only shows 22' Flying Clouds produced and not Safaris?

If anyone has a
1960 or
1961 Safari/Flying Cloud please contact me so I be sure of what I have. I have posted pictures of the exterior and interior, so please look them up.
Thanks in advance for you help.
