Tradewind Twin 1974 - rehab/renovation

We pulled out the front sofa / gaucho (?) and don't intend to put it back in. The tambors were in it but aren't useable unless anyone wants to piece them all back together. I don't want to trash the entire thing but that may happen as we have no place to store the un-neededs. If someone wants it - please holler. WE do NEED the inner (screen frame) window frame for the tilt out window by the door. It's MIA.
Anyone have any suggestions where I can get that?

front sofa - have the old cushions & pictured slipcovers & upholstered backboard as well as the entire frame & bins.

Nice looking trailer. I have a 1973 TW. Look for window parts usual places ebay, craig's list You can go to the parts wanted section of classifieds. Also you can talk trade for the parts you have but if your giving them away that is another thing. Good luck.

A few pics from the what we had and what we found in process of tearing out. Just a few things added to the shopping & to-do lists.

a timeline in pictures

What is not apparent by the pics is all the man hours, troubleshooting, planning, cleaning scraping scrubbing etc. and that was just to get to the point of working on the interior. All evenings and weekends most of 7 months. But ya'll don't need me to tell you about that.

So there are a few more finishing touches but...

she is now structurally, mechanically and functionally sound and safe. I am posting this on behalf of the Mr. He, my brother and I managed to get this beauty squared away inside and out in pretty good time thanks to you. We have pored through this forum since we started on this and the information you have shared regarding your own projects has been invaluable. There is just no way for me to thank all of you out there enough !!

Gaucho parts no bueno but here is page from the manual

I looked to see what remains of the Gaucho parts. All the 'plastic'/facing parts were tossed out, sorry. All that's left is the metal parts, the under pan & the rails. Here is a page from the manual showing all parts.

Howdy Neighbor, looks great. Only 5 posts for all that work, no wonder I didn't know anybody so close was working on a similar trailer.

Re: dismantling bath

Sorry haven't visited here in quite a while. This is the Mrs. The guys took the bath apart but i was nearby scrubbing walls so it seem like bath components removal was a puzzle. They figured out which piece was installed layered topmost and worked down from there. The gaucho parts got scrapped as they were pretty beat up. Likely this was before the inquiry from user in CT.
