Hi John and Welcome to the forums. There is no cure for Aluminitus. It only gets worse. You will find that you will be scouting yards and parking lots continuously just for a glimpse of that beautiful aluminum! And it is contagious also, your entire family will get involved! Friends will call you just to tell you that they saw an Airstream! But it is sooo much fun!

Welcome aboard John. I like what you've done with the place. And there is no cure for it. But in the end the rewards will be great. I am new to this like you and I just can't get enough of it. Loving every minute I send on it. You have friends here willing to help you all the way.

No Cure

Now that yo have been here for a month you are doomed! By now you are finding this is becoming a bit of an obsession...TO LATE! It is an addiction!

I like your aluminum tube, mine is originally from Michigan. You will find the TW a good trailer. It has the advantage of being the largest of the small trailers or was that the smallest of the large trailers?????????? What ever... The TW that I have tows great (even better since the new axels). Even though I could not get mine out this summer I am looking forward to finishing the last of my "functional" upgrades - plumbing. After that a couple more awnings and polishing. Then I will have to get creative and think of things to do................or get another one . As I said it can get to be an obsession, enjoy, welcome and maybe I will see you on the road in a year or two.

Addressing what you may begining to suspect and what at least one other person asked.............No known cure, though some have managed with extensive physcotherapy, to only go into moderate depression. The AS is cheaper than the shrink!
