door hinge on '75 Tradewind loose

The main door lower hinge came loose and when I tightened the screws they seem stripped? Any insight is appreciated.

There should be nuts on the end of the screws. You will need to get to them between the skins to tighten the screws.

The above is correct, the screws go through the hinge and the skin and have nuts on the inside. To access the nuts, you have to remove the interior skins, which is a lot of work to access a nut. You might try drilling a four holes in the inside skins large enough to get a socket through to hit the nut, and then plugging the holes when through.

Since hardware runs are going to cause me lots of extra delay, does anyone know the length/etc of the needed components? Are these the right size?

Not what you need.

The head should be flat, with a downward taper, like on a wood screw. You may not need to replace the screws or nuts, just to tighten them up. There is nothing to secure the nut on the inside of the wall, so once it gets loose, turning the screw from the outside won't tighten it, as the nut will just spin freely on the inside. You will need to get access to the nuts as described above in order to determine if you need any parts.

Mine are rusted out, ugly turkeys. If i'm drilling holes in my trailer, I'm replacing with stainless.

That should be a better fit. Can't swear that the angle of the taper will match, but you have the right shape. Can't you find these screws at your local hardware store? I have bought similar at Home Depot, Lowes, and ACE.

Yes, but then I have to go home, drill the holes, work the putty off, get the screws out, then do an hour round trip to the store, get home and put them back together, all the while with the door open for critters to wander in. I was hoping to have everything sitting ready and try to do it in a couple hours where it could be attended.

I can probably stop by Home Depot and get them in advance though, just as easily, duh. I guess we're a little addicted to Amazon!

I'm hoping this is a quick job, I've got two toddlers chasing around the yard ont he weekends, so it's hard to get these projects done and this is one that I have to complete in one phase, can't have a door missing in rainy seattle for a few days while I think about the issues.
