Angry Battery Drain - Will Not charge

So i have the 2 golf cart Costco batteries, and i have them hooked up with the positive to negative.

I hooked the shore power up to a generator for a charge this morning. It has been 3 hours and no charge.

I have all LED lighting inside and nothing, no power whatsoever.

Help.

Check the breakers and fuses? There should be a fuse on the converter output also.

ok. I checked all the fuses and the converter charge light is blinking rapidly like it should when it is charging. But still nothing. 3 hours on the generator. Nothing.

Probably time to start checking voltage. You should have 13.6 or more at the converter output. If you're on the road without a multimeter, you could just pick up a cheap one at walmart or equivalent for simple troubleshooting like this. If you have 12.6 or more at the battery then your problem is further down the line.

Do you have AC where you should, ie is air conditioner working (if you have one?). New batteries should have had a pretty good charge on them. What converter do you have? My PD Converter was blinking when it had no AC supply due to a faulty outlet.

My converter is behind the stove. I am about to take a look at it. I know there is a simple problem for this.

I may have a short on one of the lights causing the drainage. I also have treetops which I am going to solder out.

Might as well. The batteries are at interstate getting recharged. They said about a week and gave me a loaner deep cycle.

So far so good. I think it was the little button under the Dometic fridge...but still want to check all those wires before i hit the road again.

Thanks for all the help.

Turns out the mechanic had unplugged the converter and battery was not recharging on shore power.
