1973 Tradewind Manual
I am a new owner of a 1973 Tradewind. I have never towed or operated any trailer (green) but am getting ready for my maiden voyage I am trying to get it right and do it safely and have the best experience. I am in need of a Owner's Manual to help accomplish this. Is there a place to down load copies? I would be willing to pay for a copy original or otherwise. Any help or advice would be great. Yep, there is an ebay seller just up the road in Victoria who sells them. You can get both the owners manual and service manual from him.

If he hasn't listed the year you want, contact him and he'll arrange to get it to you. I bought my manuals from him and am very pleased.

Airstreams relied on in-person training up till about 1972 - then they started producing the early manuals that leave a lot to be desired... My 73's was forgettable - in more ways than one, I've lost track of where it is!

Owners manuals for a 1973 are available.
Service manuals are available for 1972 and 1974, but not 1973.
They are hard copies availble from Airstream.

I have the original owners manual that came with my 1965 Tradewind that I could photocopy if that would help.

Like Chuck, I too have a service manual for my '73. I bought my copy from Secretarial Services in Jackson Center. You can search for their phone number here on the forums. Quite expensive, I might add. But worth the money.
