Owners/Service Manual - 1963

Does anyone know where I can find a copy of a 63 Flying Cloud user/service manual?

If you contact Airstream directly you can order a photocopy version of the original - you can actually order it online (I did for my '66), but the site was difficult to navigate - you might just call them and ask if they have that year available. paula

I am not positive, but I don't believe they started owners manuals until 1964/65.

Here is a LINK to the Airstream Store and the manual order page.

I think the "owner's" manual is the one that came with every unit (find out what year they started this first, though) and the "service" manual is the shop-type repair protocol, much more technical and repair oriented. Be sure and clarify which one you want before ordering. The service manuals I've seen on ebay sell for $40-$60, owner's manuals, if available, you may get by photocopy from a friend, etc..

I have a 63. They did not print separate owners manuals in 63. You got a 3 ring binder that included the manuals supplied by the appliance manufacturers. My friend has a 64 and he got the same thing when he bought it new. I think 65 was the year Airstream decided to actually print their own.

Service Manuals prior to 1972 were not published and do not exist.

Ya'll R the best!

Thanks for the super quick answers. I did go to the AS "Store" and noticed it wasn't offered. Also a good place to look, was at the WBBCI sight in the documents section (pdf files of brochures, appliance manuals, etc..), but not what I am really looking for. Is any one willing to copy their 3-ring binder details for a nominal fee? I am interested in wiring diagrams and original layout options, and stove and H20 heater manuals primarily, but I like the retro brochure and maketing items too. I have started my own 3-ring binder with a photo and the title as the first items. At his point, gathering data.
