Name That Trailer?

Anthony and I saw a trailer in our valley, but not real sure what year or type of airstream it is, so copied the numbers. so if anyone can figure out what it is, that would be great. here it the number-22T-016018813855. We left our number with a relative, maybe they want to sell it. What an addiction, opps addition-lol

I believe it's a 1960 Airstream.

Maybe offer $1000.00, or less, if you like to tinker.

Not sure what it is. It appears to be early 60s and I would guess 22 feet. They made a lot of different 22 foot trailers in that era. The serial number is much longer then I would expect.

The shell looks like it is in great shape, but as you stated it has no interior. If the frame and floor is solid, it could be a nice find.

You must be done with the 34 footer if you are out looking again...

The body looks good.. we were just talking about how much fun it would be to have a "clean slate" AS to work with. Its a lot of work, but if you're handy and patient a custom interior could be really cool.

Looks like a 1959 22' Flying Cloud built in California:
59FC

I think the serial # is 22T0160. Not sure what the extra numbers are.

Went back today and took the pics, and yes owner's wife said it is a 59, we figured a flying cloud. The 83 is moving along well, not finished yet though. We have the AS disease, for which there is no known cure, thank goodness.

It sure is a CA built unit and a 22'er sure looks right to me. I have the same looonnng drip cap on my '59, made in 9 of 58. This one has a bunch of potential. Have you been able to get inside and check the floor? Surely, you've made the deal and pulled her home by now?

What a difference a single letter makes! The "C" must be for CONGRATULATIONS on the new project! $900 Sounds like a fair deal...

No, our Ohio built '56 has the long drip cap too.
