hi. i was wondering if anyone knows the weight of the 1960 pacer. and also what sort of tow hitch it takes. we are buying a ford explorer and wondering if it will tow the Pacer. any help?
thanks
thanks! now, any advice on hitch and tow vehicle? we have access to a 1991 ford explorer, which i am really hoping will tow the pacer. if so, will the reese hitch do well enough with a trailer that size? thanks again.
Yes, that set up will be fine; Depending upon the engine in the explorer. Make sure to check your users manual with the Explorer. Also, DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, use the "bumper" hitch. You must use a frame mounted receiver type Class II hitch. Most will tell you to use a light weight distribution hitch. Don't know much about the ones for that light of a trailer. Hopefully someone can talk about very light WD hitches.
