Ill have to double check but I think we went with a 6 gallon mini electric heater like this one
Ariston 6+ Gal. 6-Year 1500W 120 Volt Point-of-Use Mini Electric Water Heater-7738001439 at The Home Depot

Well we took the old girl up labor day to lake Lanier for her maiden voyage and it was surprisingly comfortable for us, a 3 month old, and a golden retriever. I was able to get some great pics of the two trailers (jacks and mine) next to each other as the sun was going down. As well as a more finished interior shot. Its about 90% done inside with just some loose ends to tie up but I am more than pleased how it has come together.

I started the polishing process a few weeks ago and have been working on it as I have time (which isn't much... having a 4 month old!) But i was able to dedicate 6 hours today and finally have the hang of it. Using 3M's "gravel in a bottle" I can get all of the stubborn oxidation off and then follow up with Nuvite F9 or F7 and then C. At some point when i finish i will add the Cyclo and S but thats going to be a while
excited to see her starting to show her old glory though...

Beautiful job!
I've been polishing one of my Tradewinds for 2 weeks, about 3-5 hours a day. It was heavily oxidized and it had the ever so lovely clearcoat. It is one of the dirtiest jobs I've ever done!
Keep at it, you'll not be sorry. You have done lovely work so far!

Its been a while so here are some updates! I finished the first pass of polishing FINALLY. Having a hard time getting motivated to go around 2-3 more times
But she looks really great overall and i hope to get the f7/f9 and C/S passes done this winter. Here are some of the pics from the last few weeks. Also the interior is now 99% done with the interior lights hung and some of the last loose ends tied up. We have taken her camping 3 times now and are having a blast with this thing

Looking GREAT
Ryan your trailer is looking fantastic inside and out. We are so impressed with what you have accomplished in a year. There is a lot to be said when a trailer is opened up and clean and bright inside. Makes is feel very spacious. I have found since looking at so many interior photo's that those are the interiors that really speak to us. Base on that we have have decided to take out an interior divider wall in the galley area to open ours up also. The top of the dresser/valet on the stoarage side needs to be replaced anyway so one long surface from galley to double bed area may work out well. We are taking ours out for the first time in two weeks to the 4CU Thanksgiving. That will be our first outing with Airstream folks so we hope to pick their brains for some "in person" forum advice.
Regards
