My '60 adoption....

So yesterday I had another trailer fall into my lap... I adopted this project from a formal member here on airfourms. 5 years ago he obtained this trailer from his neighbor with intentions of renovating it himself. Before he owned it, it had lived in the woods for over 20 years. Unfortunately, like many others, he fell out-of-love with this unique trailer. IMO, He went down some wrong choice paths and I don’t think he had a strong background in renovating.

I am happy with the price he let it go for, understanding the intensity of the project. I am looking forward to recreating this trailer into one of our beauties.

It will however have to wait, I now have 4 trailers needing attention…
So I will show some pictures of the initial state of condition and will eventually create an “all-out” build thread for this trailer. Without further ado. Here is our 1960 Tradewind...

Yea, clap, clap, clap! Another old Trade Wind heads for a new future. That window configuration I had not seen before.

It is a very nice sized trailer for comfortable traveling. It's a great canvas for your artistic endeavors.

I bet it will be a "full monte" renovation. Lots of hard work. It will be worth plenty when done.
