I discovered your thread and blog yesterday and have not been able to stop pouring through it. Stunning design and craftsmanship, congratulations!! It has become inspiration for my own reno in progress One question: I love the aesthetic of no back cushion on the dinette. Do you find it comfortable to lounge with your back on the aluminum wall? Or maybe you are using pillows? Debating options

Thanks Jonny! The decision not to have back cushions was made from indecision. I was thinking of buying pillows but could not commit to a color, so I haven't added them. Maybe I will down the road, but for now it promotes good posture not to be slumping back against the aluminum. It isn't terrible not to have them, but it is a little weird leaning back against the curve. And my ponytail always gets caught in the rivets.

Sounds like the adventure is going well. Had to laugh at the hair touch up and break controller posts.

Stream on.

Just a quick update. We have been to Badlands NP, Devils Tower NM, Yellowstone NP and are now near Grand Teton NP. Our trip has been wonderful so far, with many ups and downs that we did not expect. But for the moment, the sun is shining and we have the best view in the whole world.

We were in the Tetons just last week. Hate we missed seeing y'all. Just south of Jackson is a bunch of Forest Service camping in the Pinedale Ranger district. The office staff didn't give too many details but some quick exploration will let you locate spots at South Fork Lakes. Mid week it was empty but loaded up quickly when the locals poured in Friday. There is also a BLM CG right on 191 at the green river, it has water and a dump station for $10/night. It's a great place to camp 1 night and explore the area for other (free) spots.

Too bad we missed you HiHo! Which airstream did you take? We were camped for free at the north end of the Grand Tetons last week in the Rockefeller Memorial Parkway, and our current spot is free too. We may just have to go look at south fork lakes! Thanks for the tip! Are you still out exploring?
