Do you not have the original at all, or did it just break during removal for restoration?

The reason I asked if you still have the pieces is that when I removed mine while replacing that panel, as careful as I tried to be, two of the pins broke off and the Tradewind broke in half between the e and the w. I cleaned up the pieces, painted them gold with a topcoat of clear lacquer and then used Scotch/3M mounting tape to reapply. Ended up looking like this.

The mounting tape is generally found at auto parts stores but I recently saw it at Lowes in the aisle with caulks & adhesives. Took awhile to cut around the letters and the stuff is incredibly sticky, but I think it will last a good long while.

Did you redo that emblem that is underneath the Land Yacht emblem or buy new one? The reason I ask is mine looks bad. lol

It may come down to how much you want to spend to have it made. There are companies that make, for example, name plates for auto dealers for the back of vehicles-the ones with the dealer's name on it. They can be metal or plastic. There is a set up fee, etc. based on how many you may buy. I'm sure to have just one made would cost a few $$$. It may be worth a try.

On the MHMA emblem, I first used a fine mill file to remove the worst of pitting and chrome eruptions. Then scrubbed it real well with a wire brush and fianlly some 220 sandpaper. It ended better, not perfect. Then I sprayed with black paint and then used 400 wet/dry on the raised surfaces and finally sprayed it all with clear lacquer.

On original TW emblems, I should think they are more scarce than hen's teeth. I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that a custom one would cost $200-$500.
