Exclamation international 1525 heater won't run

This is my second post. and I have a problem I've got an 64 Tradewind which I love. I have own it for a year now and camp the weekends in MO state parks (but not in the winter) So my family and I stepping big and going to pull to Yellowstone next weekend for two weeksI'm so ready!!! but its going to be cool to cold nights. I've done alot of work this winter to get ARNIE ready for the trip (thanks to everybody on the forum you have help me out and didn't even know it) but I forgot I have no furnance heat.

The unit international 1525 looks new, the pilot lites and stays lit but it won't kick in and do the job on 115v or 12v. So I traced wires and found the thermo dial wire was broke off, yes how easy is that well hook it up cranked the dial to click but nothing. So I've accepted that I won't have this heat for the trip and dug out the eletric heater but maybe I could get it going before we leave.

Please help

Will you have 30 amp electric while at Yellowstone? If not, there is a solution, but not without possible problems. I have had to use a small clay flowerpot turned upside down on one of the stove burners, and the burner turned on a low setting. The pot is heated by the burner, and radiates into the trailer. The problem may be an accumulation of CO, so you should leave a window cracked open to keep air flowing in.
