Early TradeWind Registry

After cleaning up and doing my homework, the registry is now down to 121 because of duplicates. I still need to get alot of serial numbers so will begin that PM'ing process over the next few days. We'll see how it goes.

Thanks for putting the registry together. We thought we saw another thread about early Tradewinds. We'll post our information there as well.

We'd love to know if you have any information on our 1960 Tradewind with respect to past owners that may have possible posted on Airforums previously.

We just purchased her yesterday and the seller didn't know how far down the line he was relative to the original owners.

Registry Update ~

Currently, there are 140 early TradeWinds listed with a number of them sequential. Keep posting your new info and I'll add it to the registry.

I have waited for two and a half years and still no response to my question on this thread (posted in May of 2009). Evidently this is far too elite of a group to answer a simple question from someone who owns a slightly newer than a 1959 or 1960 Tradewind.
I wasn't attempting to horn in on your exclusive club, merely curious if a group existed for those of us who Tradewinds produced in the later 60s.

Sorry for the delay Ron. I do not know of a registry for the TradeWinds after 1960. This was something I started years ago just for my own curiosity. It has been educational, fun and allowed me to meet other early TradeWind owners, which has been the best part.

If this is of interest to you, why not start a registry with your own parameters for yourself? There is an advanced search feature where you can create a list of forum members who have a specific year and model of Airstream.

I didn't mean to sound nasty, but I was a bit frustrated when I never received any kind of answer.
I might just try to start one for the later sixtys when I get back in the spring.
