John, great thread, fun to read what has transpired over the years you've had your TW.
The truck looks great - vintage like its tow-mate. The two will look great going down the road together.

Home from Oceanside, Ca. Great little trip of three days. Spent one night in Murietta,Ca visting the grandkids(& kids) and Sunday night on the beach. Neat parking lot just down from the pier. 15 bucks a night no hook ups. What a great country! Pics to follow I hope. Adios, John

Well more work to be done, I think I have a broken ring in the old Ford. Has a hard miss and smokes a bit. Good news is I can still get parts for the original 292 V8. Adios, John

What a great Thanksgiving day it has been! Started the new water heater install today. I got the heater Christmas last so I am somewhat confident that it has been properly aged. I will try to add some pics along the way.
I am somewhat modivated to begin as it looks like I will be spending 2 or 3 months in it begining the 1st of January. I got a new job which I am quite excited about. A small rural fire department where I used to live in Golden Valley, Az has decided they need a mechanic and I got the job. Brand new empty shop that I get to outfit to my liking. I am feeling like a kid at Christmas, and good pay and MUCH better benifits. This old dog is happy and thankful. So I plan on staying in the Airstream for a few months till we get a new place and our house here in Wickenburg rented out. Adios, John

Wow, John, an event to really give thanks for. Congratulations. Sometimes really neat things happen to people who have earned them the hard way, and it sounds as though this was your turn.

Congratulations on your new job. I know that your are excited. Living in your TW for some time will give you lots of time to get everything sorted out as needed. I know they got the best man for the job too.

Congrats on the job, and a great trip too! How's the F100 working for you? I love the look with the slightly wider tires and the black steelies. Nice patina on the paint too. Got pics of the two hooked up?

No pics yet of the 61 hooked to the 67, I at least need to do some mockup pictures. I was set to plumb the water heater today but........Had to run to Kingman to fix a sewer problem on our rental house. Not a fun day, however got the problem fixed so all's well that ends well. Adios, John
