Well, sometimes other priorities just take over the dirty, old Airstream behind the barn. Happens all the time.

I bet SilverHoot will be traveling in his Trade Wind yet this year.

Good Grief mid April already and we've been out camping since February.
3 events so far and more scheduled though out the year.

Mike you seem to catch a lot of weather is that holding up your project ?

Most the weather you think is hitting us seems to miss and go to north and south of us. So I can't blame that. Actually going out this Sunday to Myrtle Beach for a week. Rally starts on Wednesday. On the progress made, I've attached a photo. Still have dining area and cabinet where pride is to complete. S-l-o-w-l-y getting there......

Last month we were in Virginia City ,NV for a Vintage trailer rally . Also South Lake Tahoe , Truckee and Auburn.

We're in Oregon this month and next month Nevada.

Keep us updated ... Pictures would be great too .

Hi Mike, Well we left Redding June 30 for points north in Oregon . After we left the heat started in Redding.

Two weeks getting to Portland along with a Vintage Trailer rally in Brooks at Antique Power Land. The weather was great warmest day was mid 80's.

The day we left Portland the temp went into the 90's and we were on our way to Astoria with temps in the 60's then we took the next two weeks heading south down the coast to Trinidad .

The next day we were supposed to go back to Redding when the Carr fire started and closed 299 . So here we stay, no good reason to go back to 100+* smoky conditions besides our place like your old place is in the evacuation zones. Our place is fine the fire never went that way.
I don't know about your old place as the fire raced through the Swasey area and Lower Springs Rd was also closed.
The fire also burned a bunch of homes in Mary Lake and Sunset Terrace , Old Shasta , Keswick.
It also burnt its way to Igo and points west.

The wind shifted to the NW and the fire is making a run for Trinity County . Currently its 101* in the Redding area.
