1966 Tradewind document -Yours?

Thought I'd repost these pictures of the warranty document.

Don't know why it was included with the '66 manual of the Safari I own.

Hi TDOW from beautiful Wisconsin,

That lifetime warranty statement was included in all the trailers during the 60s. I thought it was confidence inspiring. Might make it easier to sell a camper at twice the price of box campers.

My 66 Trade Wind has one also. My serial number is ...0143, so built after the one shown. I wonder if someone got mixed up between a Safari and Trade Wind years ago? A bit of Airstream history.

Thanks for your reply!

I do have the original to my Safari, but it's tacked up in the rear closet!

You know, I've seen the Life Time Warranty applied to closet doors several times. I inspected a 59 Overlander and the owner showed me this old Airstream document supporting the originality of the trailer. I wonder if Airstream instructed dealers to attach this document to the interior of the trailer so second owners could see it?
