1959 tradewind

New to the forum and AS. Lucked out and a 59 tradewind found me. Don't know much about them but a lot seems original. Click image for larger version

That could be a real creampuff. What are your plans?

Did you know the 1959 Tradewind is the single most popular year and model?

59 tradewind

Plans are to leave it as close to original as possible. Gonna por15 the frame, run pex for water, and put on a new axle and wheels. Does anyone have 12v wiring diagram for trailer connection? A 4 pin trailer connector was rigged in and all the wire covers are diseningrating.

Don't know about your California Tradewind.
The ones built in Ohio originally had a 6 pin connector and a separate 12V connector.

Nice original Tradewind. Looks like you found a good one. Tell us how that happened please.

I love our 66 Tradewind.

Telling a friend about helping my dad run new water line on his 76 sovereign, friend mentioned thatr he knew someone that had one sitting in a yard. Never have owned an RV, but after seeing my dads I really liked the build. Got some pics, then checked it out, bought some magnetic trailer lights, convinced my wife, pulled over by high way patrol, got it home, all is well.
