Just let her put out her Honey Do list...it will all be worth it in the end.

Congrats on the 56

I had been watching the work on this trailer for some time and was bummed when the pictures stopped being posted. Apparently Dave W did not do the entire project and some was done by the owner. As I understand most of the interior was done by the owner.

Pretty neat looking overall.

BTW, where are the tanks on the rig? Would you share some pictures of the plumbing system?

Good to have another 56'r on the forums. I've been keeping my log separate on my blog listed in my sig.

name?

I call her flat-out gorgeous!

I dig the shower floor. And the ceiling color is just beautiful.

But the exterior: *sigh*

Cheers,
-jd.

The interior was done by both David and the owner. In fact they are working on it today to get it ready for me. It was used only a few times after it was completed. There is no grey tank, but the black tank was a custom unit under the curbside bath (about 25 gallons). I will share any pics of the plumbing that I can access without removing the pan.

Muddy, do you need any parts from the original?

Steve

I will email the seller and ask about those parts specifically. I was told he had everything...including the fridge and stove.

Yep, that's yours!

Oh man oh man oh man! Excuse me while I wipe the drool off the floor. WOW!

Steve, you so deserve this Airstream. Y'all are really going to enjoy it. It's fabulous. I love every shiny inch of it. The interior looks creatively thought-out and very comfortable. I can't wait to rally with you.

Dacia,

Better make it to Moraine View or Branson...I dunno how many other rallies I can hit this year before it gets too cold. I have been through the ringer with Airstreams so far, so I hope this one fits..it better.

Very impressive restoration! I like the name "Orient Express" too! It is befitting of the trailer. Happy trails!

I am interested in mounting a slim rooftop ac unit that has a heat pump. Anyone have a reccommendation for this?

Someone earlier asked about the tanks. There are none. This trailer is set up for all electric. The water heater is a Gas/Electric DSI water heater, but currently isn't set up for gas.

This setup will be fine for the time being, but I like the idea of addinf a propane cooktop, or that nifty little oven/stove combo below.

Muddy,

Here are the only pics that I currently have access to for plumbing. Hopefully I can get you more later.
