Well for about a month now I have been working on my 59'. Frame, floor.yadda yadda. I am putting in a grey tank ( INCA Plastics H-147) and I was going to use PVC pipping for waste lines, or should I use the black semi flexible 1 1/4" hose like it was done originally?? Thanks, many more pictures and updates to come. I have read and learned alot from all of you doing the total renovation thing.
Here are 2 more pictures of my project.. So much to do!? I used the black semi flexible hose to the shower and PVC to the galley sink. I am not putting the vanity sink back because I thought I did not need 2 sinks within 4' of each other. I am going to make the previous vanity space into a desk space by making the wardrobe smaller to make the desk larger.
The 22' Airstream in the vintage class seem to be the perfect size
While removing my bathroom in the 59',I noticed the black tank (pictured below) was constructed out of fiberglass. Is this the original tank?? The vent for the tank came out of the wall, but was not hooked up to the tank (1st clue).I thought the tanks back then were of metal construction.... Any thoughts??? Thanks
I would use PVC if you are going out the side and less than 3'. If you are longer than that or going to run it to the back, I would uses PVC with a rubber coupler. Place the it about 6" away from tank. I do this so that the flex of the trailer will not break the tank parts or the PVC... Good luck
