1957 caravanner refrigerator

Does anyone know what brand of refrigerator came in the ‘57 caravanner? The airstream document archive doesn’t mention which brand. Trying to find out if the one in our newly acquired trailer is the original.

Your Dometic fridge is probably not original to a 1957 Caravanner - the original was most likely a Krefft, Marvel or a Servel. The mid-50's fridge designs were much like their residential counterparts - white, bulbous & heavy - but very cool looking!

Dometics started being used in the mid-60's...so the original was replaced somewhere along the way. They are more "modern" with straight lines & corners and are still made today.
