So, what you are saying is...

When I am working on airplanes we have a .030 tolerance... I shouldn't be expecting that?😬

Airplanes

I just now picked up that you work on airplanes. When you reach a certain age there aren't enough readers in the world. Yeah, the tolerances on a '57 Airstream are ever so slightly larger than what you're used to

I also grew up around the private aircraft world, seeing the incredible craftwork that builders would bring to Oshkosh makes these old trailers look like they were built with hammers and axes. As a buddy says, "it's just a dang ole trailer"

But they sure are fun to mess with.

I know what you mean. We even have bring perspective in sometimes when getting a little carried away on the airplanes. The guys will say, "Come on, we are not building a church."

Funny, I remodel churches for a living and we sometimes refer to it as rebuilding an airplane while it's flying

Ah, I see you are from Appleton, there's a Gulfstream Service Center there. We just had our GV up there.

Do you get to come with the GV? If so give me a shout. I can walk you through the completion center.

Well, it was there last month N677F. It's a special mission bird. I don't get to go on the GV maintenance missions, I'm kinda married to our C-130, N130AR. Google the N numbers for pics.

Even so. If you get a chance maybe sell it as that you have a connection there.

I checked your profile. C130 FE. Cool. I was an FE in P-3's. Seems like along time ago... I suppose because it was.

Caution, sarcasm ahead-

Vintage airstream for sale. Solid subfloor. Might just need a little patch. Ha ha.

I pulled the four bolts from the toilet. I yanked up on the toilet and the entire toile, black tank, and plumbing came with it. The floor provided no resistance.
