Traveler or Globester???

so... i have read many definitive answers about the difference between travelers and globesters. and the difference between ones made in california and ones made in ohio... and i am still confused. we just got our airstream that i had been told was a Pacer, which it can not be. and now i think it is one of these other two. it has no nameplate. and the only year i can find on it anywhere is on the original warrenty papers glued to the inside of the closet, written in pencil are the owners names, and the year 1960. i would love to know how to properly identify it. it was made in california for sure. and the layout looks like pictures that some folks label as traveler and some as globester.
any help to sort this out would be great!!!
thanks

Hi Quinn ~

Please post the serial number of the trailer. I can decife it and we'll know for sure. I've not heard of a Globester. Where did you hear of this model name? I have some printed documents on models of this era and Globester is not mentioned. The different factories did some odd things and made custom models per customer's requests so its difficult to keep up with and their production documentation was nonexistant.

This came up once before. http://www.airforums.com/forum...ter-12197.html
Not much information came out that time either.
The vintage photo site has more info.

wow! thanks for that bluprint link, azflycaster! that is pretty much our trailer, with the exception of the way the booth seats are facing. i am so confused! i have now seen photos of tailers that people identify as "Travellers" that look exactly like mine. and now a blue print and photos identified as a "Globester."
And Flyfshr, the serial number of my trailer is, 18DS-0296. It was made in Santa Fe Springs, CA.
i will try to attach photos to this post... I am not sure if it will work.
thanks for the help, everyone!

I just bought a 59 Globester. Mine has the nameplate hidden in the closet on the bottom. The Globester has a couch up front but you could order the dinette for extra when they frist cam eout. Your stove is on the right side of the sink so I believe it is a Globester with the added on dinette. Just my opinion
